Save your money and get better food elsewhere. The meal at the Egg was superb with everything cooked perfectly. I ordered exactly the same breakfast as I had ordered at Hotel Effie the previous morning. On Friday morning we walked to Bay Towne Wharf and ate breakfast at Another Broken Egg. Everything was undercooked or real greasy (eggs, bacon, potatoes). On Thursday morning we ate breakfast in the restaurant. This was still not cleaned when we left on Friday. Also, there was a conference on Wednesday night and all of the smokers went outside to lite up throwing all of their butts all over the place and leaving plenty of trash. The doors to the elevators are brass and haven't been shined since the hotel was opened. Now the bad: Little things in the room like a tag still on the water hose to the toilet tank and the pump bottle of body wash not working. First the good: Roof top pool was nice and the drinks at the bar were good. I've stayed in a lot of 5-Star hotels and this was by far the worst. The food in the restaurant was under cooked, the decorations minimalistic, and cleanliness suspect. For a real expensive hotel, I was not impressed.
